A Golden Opportunity
At a packed event within Stratford-upon-Avon School on Tuesday night, In2Ambition launched the CAREER HUB: with everything from the golden invitations to the brochures and guidance packs coming from Method design.
Given The Hub is all about building careers, you might not be surprised to hear that the CAREER HUB will offer top tips on things like questions to prepare for interview, what to wear, and how to handle nerves, all put across in a fresh, non-patronising, digestible way.
But whilst traditional careers advice has for a long time been a one way street – a student trawling through a Filofax of photocopied worksheets belonging to someone in a cardigan – the CAREER HUB stands out for having also engaged parents and businesses, whipping up their enthusiasm for employing students in full or part-time roles, whilst also including tips on training, expectations and motivation.
So the CAREER HUB services create a proactive, visible link between students, teachers, parents, and employers, delivering accessible face-to-face and multimedia resources. The service focusses on embedding career education into the learning experience, and is another great way for the school to plug into its local community.
